Help for Sri Lanka West e. V.
The picture series shows some impressions shortly after the tsunami and examples of some projects that were initiated after that:
- Securing basic needs (housing, clothing, drinking water, …)
- Helping people help themselves, for example, by the purchase of wotk tools, equipment for the production of coconut mats, scales for market booths, etc.
- Promotion of schools, kindergartens and orphanages
- …

The first report that gives a good idea of the initial phase immediately after the tsunami, and another that shows how, even after more than 10 years, the “makers” and “helpers” of Sri Lanka West e. V. are very active on site for the benefit of the needy.
